Groups & Customized Adventures Coordinator
Being raised in a family of travellers, I caught the travel bug at a very young age and slowly but surely it became a life – long passion. At the age of 7 my parents introduced me to my first ever “far – flung” trip; Australia, where I instantaneously knew I wanted to expose myself to the lifestyle of a cultural traveller. After graduating college, where I studied the laws of International Economics and Hospitality Management I decided to spontaneously pack my bags and see what this world has to offer besides ice hockey and -25 degree weather. I have now worked in 5 different countries and journeyed through 5 continents witnessing some of the most alluring sights while familiarizing myself with many cultures and gaining valuable, in-depth knowledge of their captivating history & traditions. After my return home, I was fortunate enough to find a job with Gap Adventures where I can get creative by expressing my thoughts and sharing my past experiences by creating travel itineraries while assisting you in making your next trip an exciting and un-forgettable adventure!

Having been born in the tourist utopia of Banff, Alberta, you wouldn't think that the bug to travel would have bitten me but that's exactly what happened. I spent my formative years donning ballet slippers and dancing my way across Asia but it didn't end there. I eventually traded in those slippers for a backpack and tripped throughout Europe and still, my travels continued. I have since roamed into some of the most unique locations on Earth; learning traditions and absorbing culture throughout my journeys. Finding a career working at Gap Adventures just made perfect sense in the end. I was lucky enough to find a company that gives me a paycheck simply for sharing my knowledge and love of travel. How cool is that? I look forward to assisting you in choosing the right dish from the smorgasbord of adventure travel the world has to offer.

The travel bug bit me hard at 16 when I travelled to Paraguay, South America volunteering teaching English. I loved being immersed into a new culture, surrounded by the unknown, that I was determined to discover. An opportunity to go to university in Australia came my way, so off I went. It was there, that my passion for travel really ignited, starting with exploring the Australian coast, the desert interiors of the Outback and the glaciers and mountains of New Zealand. After months of travel, I returned to Canada prepared to start my career. I wanted to find a position that I could love with a company's who's core values matched my own. Gap Adventures was a natural fit. I know I have the knowledge and passion to give you the adventure you desire and the life changing experience you never even realized you were after.

I was first introduced to the exciting world of travel at age 13 when my parents took me with them on my first European vacation. My growing passion for travel has taken me to more then 20 countries and allowed me to experience many places I hadn't even dreamed of. When it came time to decide on a career path I felt it was an obvious decision to study what I was passionate about which led me to Sheridan College where I completed the Tourism & Travel program. I was first introduced to Gap Adventures as a travel agent and immediately became excited about the company which motivated me to apply! My passion has always been in adventure travel and working for Gap has given me many great opportunities!

At age 21, I bought my first backpack, sewed a flag on the pocket and took off to explore the world. Over the years, I managed to travel through just over 70 countries and all 7 continents. I've samba-ed through the streets of Salvador during Carnival, peered over the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, scuba dived amid the marine life of the Great Barrier Reef, scaled the Great Wall of China only to name just a few of my experiences and yet still enjoy a nice camping weekend at Algonquin Park in my own back yard. It was no surprise that I came to find Gap Adventures 12 years ago and have since called it my home away from home. I proudly manage this incredible group of adventure enthusiasts that come together to form our Groups and Customized Adventures department. I am confident that with the wealth of experience they have and our focus on customer service, the team can offer you the best in adventure at a very competitive price. There isn't really much you can dream up that they cannot do. Let us help you create your next adventure.
